Event information

“How can I help?” tells the story of seven foreign individuals - plus the odd British one! - forced to spend an extraordinary day together as they lock themselves in a fast-food restaurant to protect it from the riots.

Sara has a grip on reality

Mick is on a winning one

Marcelle has a secret in the cupboard

Leoni’s sure to know the truth

Gabriela won’t listen

Julietta won’t shut up

Liz’s haunted by memories

Ayo wants to turn back time – but once you start all over again, where do you go?

Questioning the role of foreign people as “Londoners”, this play dwells on the evils and goodness of globalisation and talks about the negotiation of cultural spaces in the UK capital for individuals looking to fulfil their life-goals.

Produced by ISCAD, performed by ISLaD's students.

ISCAD is the International Society of Communication and Drama, the London-based theatre company with charitable status born to give a voice to foreign amateur actors in London.
